Secomak latest drying solutions on show at Drinktec 2013
Air movement specialist, Secomak, has built on its extensive experience in the food and beverage industry to develop a range of drying solutions - designed for the unique requirements of processing and packaging applications. The range will be showcased at Drinktec 2013, 16th-20th September and represents the very latest in drying technology for beverage and liquid food processing.
The latest Secomak development – the Powerstrip air knife drying system - combines specialist drying modules and has been designed to operate in the latest high speed on the production lines. Ian Roffe, Managing Director of Secomak comments: “At Secomak we are increasingly looking at how we can develop integrated solutions to the most complex challenges faced by our customers today and in the future. The Secomak Powerstrip is a modular system that eliminates issues related to excess surface water such as rusty crown caps, label adhesion or alignment failures and illegible date codes – yet still runs at high speeds processing up to 120,000 units per hour.”
Furthermore, Secomak will optimise the performance of the system throughout the product lifecycle via its dedicated team of expert engineers and can even monitor the parent system, flagging preventative maintenance actions before they become critical. Ian Roffe continues; “Our latest innovation will enable our customers to monitor the parent system, flagging preventative maintenance actions before they become critical. This in turn can mitigate against loss of earnings and the increased costs associated with rejects, downtime and equipment inefficiencies.”
