Tornado and Can Top Drying System

The Secomak Tornado and Can Top Drying System for bulk removal of water from can surfaces

The Secomak Tornado and Can Top Dryer

The Secomak Can Top Dryer is a water removal system designed specifically for bulk removal of surface moisture from can tops and bases. The system is designed to prevent the risk of legionella and is suitable for very high speed lines with high drying requirements. The enclosed shell provides spray containment and water drainage while limiting noise emissions.

The Can Top Dryer can be coupled with a Secomak Tornado to remove water from the toughest of line conditions.

The Tornado features a set of high suction Ringjets to displace water from the can base and top, and closed hood to retain and channel the removed material to a drainage or UV/chemical treatment system. The Tornado is able to remove water without atomisation, preventing the risk of bacteria spread and cross process contamination.

The Can Top Dryer and Tornado are both high efficiency systems featuring quick-set adjustments for rapid changeovers and varied can sizes. Both solutions are compliant with BCME guidelines on can processing.
